Day By Day

Day 1: Welcome to Kilimanjaro - Your Unforgettable Journey Begins!
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to be greeted by our friendly representative. Enjoy a seamless transfer to your hotel, where you will find all the comforts you need for a delightful stay - from cozy rooms and hot water to a refreshing swimming pool and Internet access. In the evening, our experienced Guide will conduct a comprehensive briefing, ensuring you are fully prepared for the thrilling climb ahead.
Day 2: High-Altitude Drop Off Destination and Trekking to Shira 1 Camp
Your journey commences as a guide, and our mountain support crew greets you in the morning. A thrilling 3–4-hour ride takes you to Kilimanjaro National Park's western entrance: Londorossi Gate. Acquiring climbing permits and registration is a breeze before heading to your drop-off point by off-road vehicles, where the mesmerizing Shira Plateau greets you with its beauty.
Day 3: Trekking from Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Enjoy a gentle morning trek from Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp, reveling in breathtaking views of African savannahs and Kilimanjaro's unique flora. Witness the magnificent Mount Meru, weather permitting, from Shira 2 Camp, an excellent opportunity for acclimatization.
Day 4: Trekking from Shira 2 Camp to The Lava Tower and Descent to Barranco Camp
A thrilling day awaits as you ascend to the renowned Lava Tower, offering spectacular sights at over 4,600 meters above sea level. After an acclimatization hike, you'll descend to Barranco Camp, facing the impressive Barranco Wall – a highlight of your journey.
Day 5: Trekking from Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Embark on an early start, conquering the Barranco Wall with ease. As you reach Karanga Camp, expert guides lead you through ascents and descents at an optimal pace. Don't worry; they have everything under control.
Day 6: Trekking from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
With a warm and hearty breakfast, you will journey towards Barafu Summit Camp, your starting point for the final night summit to Uhuru Peak. Our team will have everything ready for your arrival, ensuring you are fully rested.
Day 7: Ascent to Uhuru Peak and Descent to Millennium Camp
Embark on the ultimate ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m/19340f ft) with a personal guide by your side, monitoring your well-being. Celebrate your triumph, then descend to Millennium Camp for a well- deserved rest.
Day 8: Descent from Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate
Your journey culminates with a descent from Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate, situated in a lush tropical rainforest. Celebrate your success, share your experiences in the guestbook, and receive your commemorative certificates.
Day 9: Departure
Take a day of rest at the hotel, cherishing the unforgettable memories of your Kilimanjaro adventure. When it’s time, we'll provide a seamless transfer to the airport, bidding farewell to an extraordinary journey. Relish the sense of achievement and carry the spirit of Kilimanjaro in your heart forever!

  • Round-trip airport transfers
  • Park Fees: All Park fees collected by Kilimanjaro National Park (conservation fees, camping fees,crew
  • Accommodation one night before and one night after the expedition.
  • For all routes except Marangu: Tented accommodation on Mount Kilimanjaro (modern,comfortable 4-season tents).
  • Special for Marangu route: Accommodation in huts. The allocation of huts is ruled by the rangers of the national park. We will do our best to arrange separate huts for our groups, but during busy months, you are likely to share huts with climbers from other groups.
  • Please note that, by default, you will share a room and a tent with your travel companion. If you travel solo on a group expedition, we will room you with a same-sex participant. Single supplement is available upon request.
  • Breakfast in the hotel before and after the hike.
  • All meals on the hike. You will find delicious, energy-rich meals on our mountain menus. Our professional chefs will prepare assorted soups, garnishes, several types of fish and meat, fresh fruit, and vegetables. Vegetarian/gluten-free/halal options are available at no extra cost.
  • All drinks on the hike (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water).
  • Hiking and safety equipment:
  • 4-inch (10-cm) thick and comfortable sleeping mats.
  • All group equipment (dining tent, table, chairs, crockery, and cutlery).
  • Oxygen cylinders and oximeters.
  • Complete medical kits.
  • Professional guides licensed by Kilimanjaro National Park. All guides are holders of Wilderness
  • First Responder certification. All of them have 5+ years of successful experience.
  • Dedicated support crew (assistant guides, camp master, porters, cooks, etc.).
  • Taxes: 18% VAT, 1% TDL, and 0.3% Service Levy.

Exclude

  • International flights.
  • Tips (250-300 USD per climber for the whole mountain crew).
  • Visa fee (100 USD for American citizens and 50 USD for all others).
  • Personal gear rentals.
  • Lunch and dinner at the hotel (before and after the climb).
  • Portable toilets (if required – 250 USD per unit, one can be shared between 3 people). Portable toilets are not available on the Marangu route.
  • Mountaineering insurance. You’ll need special insurance for climbing Kilimanjaro that covers
